Event Overview

The 14th Annual Joint CBRN Symposium will convene leading voices from across government, military, academia, and industry to explore strategies and solutions for countering today’s complex and evolving chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) threats.

Designed to foster collaboration and innovation, this event provides a critical forum for sharing insights, advancing technologies, and strengthening preparedness and response capabilities across the CBRN defense community. The 2026 symposium underscores a whole-of-government and multinational commitment to innovation, resilience, and mission success in the face of a rapidly shifting global threat landscape.

This year’s agenda features panels on strengthening homeland defense and state and local response coordination, advancing multinational readiness, and leveraging AI and autonomous systems to transform CBRN readiness. Discussions will center on joint force modernization, CBRN acquisition priorities, and new technologies supporting early detection, operational survivability, and rapid decontamination.
