Roland has been with Smiths Group for 27 years, holding numerous roles within the business. He was appointed as Smiths Detection President in February 2018, in addition to his role as President, Asia Pacific for Smiths Group. Prior to this, he was Managing Director for Smiths Connectors for ten years, before becoming President, Smiths Interconnect in 2014.
Roland is a Chartered Engineer, holding both a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and Master’s degree in electronics. Inder Reddy joined Smiths Detection in April 2022 from Resideo Technologies, Inc. He previously held various leadership positions within Honeywell and The Boston Consulting Group. Jerome joined Smiths Detection as General Manager for India operations in 2016, he was appointed to Vice President APAC in 2018 and Middle East in 2019. In 2021, Jerome was made the Vice President for Commercial. James Down was appointed Divisional General Counsel in May 2021. He joined Smiths in December 2016 as Head of M&A Legal and in April 2018 assumed the role of General Counsel, Corporate.
James started his career in the London office of the international law firm, Lovells and, prior to joining Smiths, held senior legal roles at SABMiller plc. Phaedra was appointed Master Blackbelt in February 2022. She joined Smiths Detection in 2021 as the Global Service Training Director.
