AAPA LATAM represents the most important ports in the region, from Mexico to the southernmost tip of South America. As the regional affiliate of the American Association of Port Authorities, its mission is to give a strong and unified voice to Latin American ports, driving their development and competitiveness on the global stage.
Over three days, representatives from port authorities, private terminals, logistics operators, technology companies, multilateral organizations, and public and private leaders will gather to discuss the main challenges and opportunities that will shape the future of maritime trade and port logistics, with a special focus on sustainability, digital integration, security, infrastructure, and institutional governance.
In collaboration with the National Port Commission of Guatemala, the event will include high-level technical sessions, a trade exhibition with the main suppliers in the sector, keynote conferences, expert panels, networking opportunities, a commercial exhibition, and technical visits to strategic ports in the country, along with cultural activities that showcase Guatemala’s rich heritage and diversity.
Guatemala not only offers a privileged geographic location and growing logistics infrastructure but is also taking firm steps toward the modernization of its port systems. This context makes the country a key hub connecting the Caribbean, the Pacific, and the Central American interoceanic corridor, creating an influential space for regional dialogue and cooperation.
