PathSensors' Head of Product Development Presenting at National Academy of Sciences

Our Director of Product Development, Andrew Flannery is presenting at the 2017 Summit of the Virginia Academy of Science, Engineering, and Medicine on Monday, October 30, 2017. The summit at the National Academy of Sciences will feature leaders from around the country who specialize in emerging diseases, pathogens, and the engineering of new technologies to combat these.

He will be presentation title “Novel biosensor technologies to detect emerging and bioterrorism pathogens” will focus on how to design diagnostics for applications in emerging diseases and in biodefense.

His presentation will also touch on Pathsensors CANARY® Technology that allows for the rapid testing of pathogens in biodefense including Anthrax and Ricin and emerging disease including Ebola and HMF. He is joining a panel of experts from across the country in order to bring new technologies and developments to the space of emerging human diseases.
