PathSensors and Shenzhen Radiusen Systems Limited have entered into a partnership agreement to bring novel pathogen detection technologies to Chinese markets. PathSensors’ CANARY technology will be distributed by Radiusen to customers in China with applications including bioterrorism, mail screening, food safety, and plant diagnostics. CANARY pathogen detection systems will play a key role in advancing health and security in China.
“We’ve seen a dramatic increase in Chinese demand for high-tech diagnostic systems,” commented PathSensors president Ted Olsen. “This partnership enables us to reach the Chinese market and deliver the same industry-leading capabilities that our customers are used to in the United States.”
Olsen returned recently from a two-week trip to China, during which he visited customers to demonstrate the CANARY technology. “The visit was very successful,” said Radiusen CEO Ray Wang. “We already have several customers on board. I’m thrilled to be working with PathSensors and I see great potential for this technology in China.”
China is one of several international markets being explored by PathSensors as the company expands globally. The company is developing relationships with partners in Japan, Europe, Australia, and the Middle East.
