Protection, transparency and control

Europe’s data protection rules have undergone their biggest shake-up in more than 20 years with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which took effect on May 25. This new regulation is important to each and every one of us because it brings outdated EU laws up to speed with technological change and gives us more transparency and control over our own data.

Smiths Detection is committed to protecting your personal information and our privacy policy has been updated in line with the new regulations. This policy covers the types of personal data we collect; why, when and how it is collected; as well as your rights in relation to this information.
