Automatic detection at your security checkpoint

Automatic detection at your security checkpoint

Taking checkpoint security to the next level

Automatic detection at your security checkpoint can help create better security outcomes, reduce overall operational costs, and minimize contact between passengers and operators as well as the number of contact points throughout the security screening process.

ECAC EDS CB regulations introduced in 2015, require the automatic detection of explosives in cabin baggage which has resulted in several technology advances to deliver more accurate detection, helping operators to uncover previously difficult to identify threats.

Computed tomography (CT) technology further creates enhanced checkpoint security and automation by delivering a high level of explosives detection while scanning hand luggage without the need to remove electronic devices and liquids. This expedites screening, improves passenger experience and reduces touchpoints.

Using artificial intelligence algorithms and advanced automatic object recognition further enables automation at the checkpoint. With iCMORE, airports achieve improved detection performance and therefore increase security.

Key benefits of automatic detection

Automatic detection of explosives using next generation technology improves detection rates and helps expose threats previously difficult to identify.

Greater screening efficiency enables fewer staff to cope with passengers and their belongings and increases productivity – in turn lowering the cost per head.

Automation reduces manual processes for both passengers and operators, creating a much smoother, less stressful experience with less physical contact.
