Case Creation

  • Data is ingested and cases are created automatically, saving significant time in performing administrative work.
  • Decision-making is enriched by multiple data sources, such as market data feed, police/Interpol reports, weather, fraudulent trends and more.
  • Combined with machine learning inputs, information can be aggregated into a single “source-of-truth” to enable better decision making.

Profiler

  • All cases pass through the CORSYS advanced risk assessment application, Profiler, which is powered by machine learning capabilities, artificial intelligence (AI) and data science.
  • Cases will be categorized into five risk levels, generated by algorithms that are linked to configurable risk categories such as national security, smuggling, import/export and revenue collection.
  • Based on the assigned risk level, the application advises case officers of specific inspection actions, allowing them to achieve 100% data inspection and risk assessment.
  • Data from all the verdicts generated is fed back into Profiler’s machine learning algorithm to help improve its output, ensuring more accurate risk-pathway assignment in the future.

Decision Centre

  • The Decision Centre improves inspector efficiency and effectiveness by allowing inspectors to view all information in a single window.
  • Cases that have been assigned a particular risk level will be sent to the Decision Centre.
  • Officers are empowered to confirm or override suggested risk levels from the Profiler engine and to re-route cases to different pathways.
  • Workflow prioritization and approval management tools make it easy for supervisors to assist with analysis and make decisions.

Scan Manager

  • Scan Manager associates scan images in UFF 2.0 format to CORSYS cases for further assessment and inspection.
  • Universal File Format (UFF) enables CORSYS to be used with any non-intrusive inspection (NII) scanning system, regardless of brand.
  • Single application provides remote and mobile access to target data.
  • Ability to record verdicts and upload evidence (photographic & metadata).

Analyzer

  • Works with any image converted into the UFF 2.0 file format.
  • Provides the full array of image-enhancement tools array set, allowing users to have complete control of the image review process.
  • Displays material discrimination results (if the scanning system provides this capability).
  • Allows operator to review, enhance, and add notes and treatment to any UFF 2.0 image, regardless of the system from which it was captured.

Dashboard

  • Provides a common operational view, retains and makes available all verdicts and case audit history for trend analysis, operational KPIs and self-service reporting.
  • Data visualization provide a simplified view of complex data sets.
  • Different members of the team can also access the dashboard, which provides them with real-time and historical performance information  streamlining management.
