Smiths Detection has a major presence in the U.S. with production facilities and offices in 8 states, occupying around 310,000 sq. ft and employing more than 800 people. Sales inquiries are principally handled by two dedicated offices: in Connecticut for Military and Emergency Responders and New Jersey for all other security sectors. Service and Support operations for the Americas are also managed from New Jersey. Many of the businesses of our parent company, Smiths Group, are rooted in the United States.
