Smiths Detection - Watford
Smiths Detection is located at Bushey, on the outskirts of Watford, less than 25 miles (40 km) from central London. It is close to the M1 motorway and to Watford Junction station on the main west coast rail line from London Euston to Birmingham, the north west of England and Scotland. London Heathrow Airport is 24 miles (39 km) from the Bushey office.
The Watford site is home to Smiths Detection's global centre of excellence for chemical and biological agent detection products and systems, working closely with the Edgewood facility in Maryland, USA.
Watford is also home to the Military sales organisation for all sales outside the U.S. and is the principal office for Smiths Detection International UK, handling sales of civil equipment in the UK and Ireland.
