Protective shelter

Military operations under conditions of chemical or biological attack are extremely challenging.  Historically, this capability has been achieved through use of protective suits and masks, but these are heavy and hot, reducing troop effectiveness and ability to communicate.

Collective Protection allows teams of warfighters to work in a shirt sleeve environment while nuclear, chemical, and biological contaminaion is kept outside.  Smiths collective protection systems allow vital operations such as command and control, and emergency medical missions to continue under the worst of conditions.
