As an international leader in its sector, Smiths Detection has organied and sponsored major conferences to discuss how Industry and Governments worldwide can work together to respond to increased security threats.
These images are from a London event which combined an exhibition of current detection and screening systems with a conference that discussed the accelerated development of technology to anticipate future needs. The Home Secretary used the conference to make a major policy speech on the UK Government's approach to homeland security issues.
High level forums on security have also been organised in Brussels, covering the EU and in Paris where the focus was on passenger and cargo screening in France.  [more].
