Feature Highlights
- Detect - Remote sensors continuously monitor air quality and environmental conditions
- Identify - Agent identity and concentration are instantly transmitted to Command & Control
- Analyze - PROTECT links CCTV systems and sensors to automatically provide alarm verification and threat analysis
- Communicate - First Responders are prompted to take action based on the predefined Concept of Operations
- Respond - Facility operators and First Responders can track critical actions executed by response teams
- Isolate- Above and below ground plume modeling provides visual map of hazard zones
Additional Features
• Multiple maps show sensor and CCTV locations
• Chemical concentrations from the moment of alarm are tracked and visually display for instant analysis by systems operations
• All user actions display for synchronized coordination between response teams
• Additional windows show real-time weather data, recommended actions and overview maps of hazard zones
• Video multiplexer allows instant views from live and recorded analog or digital CCTV systems
• System operators can manipulate camera views and control pan/tilt/zoom cameras to investigate threats
PROTECT is an automated hardware/software system that integrates CBRNE detectors, analog or digital camera systems (CCTV), dispersion modeling, and optimal response protocols to improve detection and reaction to complex terrorist attacks. The system provides accurate, early detection and verification in confined spaces within densely populated areas, such as in city buildings and urban transportation systems. Alarm and response management capabilities assist infrastructure operators and first responders by pinpointing release areas and projected dispersion zones and then recommending appropriate, predetermined response scenarios.
