Automatic dense area detection HI-SPOT
General
HI-SPOT illuminates dark image areas. HI-SPOT automatically detects sections of high absorption. The detected area is analyzed by means of a special enhancement filter software and then locally illuminated.

The result: the image evaluation of materials that are difficult to penetrate is improved without deteriorating the information of other image sections.
HI-SPOT is an automatic function. Manual manipulation or stopping of the conveyor is not necessary.
HI-SPOT works online and in real time without a loss of evaluation time for the operative. Since the absorption threshold and the minimum size of the detection area are programmable parameters, HI-SPOT can be easily adjusted by supervisor personnel.
