GID-3 (24/7)
Feature highlights
- Proven pedigree, based upon world’s most deployed point detector.
- Continuous 24/7 operation with detection & identification of an (easily reprogrammable) library of CWAs and Toxic Industrial Chemicals.
- Low through life costs, simple to install, operate and maintain.
- Can be networked by a variety of means to suit the user, with an optional central control unit.
- Can be mounted either internally or externally and operated over a wide range of environmental conditions
The GID-3 (24/7) is a continuously operating, fully networked and versatile CWA and TICs detector. Using an enhanced GID-3 detector, the unit is mounted in a weatherproof housing incorporating low through life cost consumables and a number of additional features including wireless, ethernet and fibre optic network links. Using patented dual dopant technology, the unit has improved false alarm rejection and enhanced performance.
Systems have been deployed in military, critical infrastructure and transportation applications including metro, around perimeters, external to and inside buildings. Optional HVAC duct interface units are available where required.
GID-3 (24/7) networks can be controlled via a purpose designed touch-screen central control unit or a users own facility management system, running the embedded application software. Connectivity can be via Ethernet or RS232 as standard, with RS485, fibre-optic and radio modem options.
With a proven military pedigree, the detectors are rugged, reliable and dependable even in adverse environments. They are quickly and easily maintainable, with the capability of up to two years continuous operation without service. To ensure minimal environmental impact, consumable items can be refurbished as an alternative to disposal.
