US TSA Air Cargo Screening Mandate

The deadline for the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) Air Cargo Screening mandate in the United States has passed and requirements met. Fifty percent of air cargo transported on passenger planes is being screened for threats.

The challenge now is the August 2010 deadline for screening 100% of air cargo. Smiths Detection can help you meet this challenge with reliable, cost-effective screening solutions supported by comprehensive training and customer service.

Smiths Detection offers both AT X-ray and Explosives Trace Detector (ETD) systems, two key technologies in satisfying the mandate.

All our systems are designed for accuracy, durability, reliability and with the operator in mind.
