In the military arena we have delivered deployable and dismountable systems. The US DoD turned to Smiths Detection for vehicle based meteorological systems and its next generation chem/bio shelter system.

The most sensitive biological detection and identification equipment, integrated as total vehicle systems, are being deployed by governments in the UK and Japan.

Security and high throughput are paramount in aviation transport and at Frankfurt Airport we implemented fully integrated automatic x-ray inspection systems, which  communicate with the existing baggage handling infrastructure.
