Smiths Detection provides integrated security & sensor management solutions for mission critical applications.   At the heart of Smiths management solutions is FirstView.  FirstView is a powerful networking software application designed to aggregate and manage data from multiple security tools such as: perimeter/fence detection systems, CBRNE sensors, CCTV, video analytics and access control systems.  FirstView’s alarm interface correlates and enhances sensor alarms with relevant live video feeds from 3rd party CCTV systems or directly connected video cameras.  System alarms can be configured to trigger a wide range of pre-defined actions including activation of cameras presets views, audible alarms and map overlays.  All alarm events are archived, with indexed video recordings, for forensic and/or training requirements.
