- Video channels/sources can be configured as continuous record, enabling lengthy pre-alarm buffers or based on specified feeds
- Archived video can be searched based on date, time or event
- Events can be triggered by software or hardware triggers from various sensors (local or remote)
- Event notification system (web, email, cell and page)
- Live and recorded video accessible through standard PCs, web browsers and networks (no proprietary application software required)
- Video clips and images can be easily distributed to web browsers and viewed withWindows Media Player, downloaded, emailed or recorded to a local DVD-R for remote analysis or forensics
- Encrypted network access to system using configurable hierarchal user management system to setup unlimited security levels and roles
- Scalable to support additional software algorithms, such as advanced motion detection, object recognition and tracking, sensor triggers and bio-metrics (per application requirements or based on specified feeds)
The FirstView NVR is a true network NVR that can reside anywhere on the LAN or WAN (Intranet, Internet, Fiber or Wireless). Multiple NVRs can be used concurrently and distributed in alternative locations for archive redundancy at same or varying resolutions/frame rates.
