• Secure network encryption
• Enables interagency communications
First Responders face security and safety issues everyday when functioning in mission critical surveillance environments. In light of these threats, interoperable wireless video communications are needed in emergency situations to provide effective real-time information sharing and ensure interagency cooperation.
Having the ability to remotely monitor and control video cameras while on patrol, or first upon arriving at the scene, allows field personnel to improve their situational awareness and provide accurate analysis for the decision making process in command and control centers. Smiths Detection-LiveWave’s MobilePC provides this surveillance network flexibility by extending the FirstView® network to roving patrols or First Responders.
MobilePC is an add-on software module for handheld PCs to be used in association with FirstView® systems. It enables law enforcement, military personnel and First Responders to remotely control and view high-quality, real-time video and DVR streaming playback.
