The GID-3 simultaneously detects chemical warfare agents in real time. Easy to use, rugged, reliable, battle proven and dependable, it is the world’s most comprehensively tested and widely deployed detector in current production. The unit can be installed in vehicles or deployed for use in man-portable or static locations.
When switched to the NASCAP configuration, augmented by radio modem and GPS, it can form part of a mobile or static network.
A variant is currently in service with the USA, DoD fulfilling the requirement of the M22 ACADA programme, having been selected after exhaustive competitive trials. Following on from its acceptance by the US DoD, GID-3 has been accepted widely into service throughout NATO and armed forces worldwide.
Easily reprogrammed to accommodate changing threats, augmented by vehicle mounts, through armour inlet assemblies, remote display units, radio modems and other ancillary items, GID-3 is the benchmark detector for point detection applications.
