The Bio-Seeq PLUS is a portable high precision instrument that detects trace levels of specific biological warfare agent (BWA) threats, both bacterial and viral, through DNA replication. It utilises LATE-PCR™ (Linear After the Exponential Polymerase Chain Reaction) technology for enhanced detection and identification
reliability and capability.
The instrument software is designed for users with little to no experience with biological testing. Easy to follow prompts guide users through the entire analysis process. The unit contains a membrane keyboard with extra large keys allowing the unit to be used with protective gloves.
Optimised for use as a confirmatory technique in field testing, the Bio-Seeq PLUS is critical to missions when BWA is suspected.

The Bio-Seeq PLUS includes the following design and operation improvements:
• New thermocycler heater for greater reliability and temperature stability
• New keyboard for greater reliability and ease of use
• Internal battery can be re-charged while in use, utilising an external power supply
• External power compatible with European and USA voltages
The Bio-Seeq PLUS utilises sophisticated LATE-PCR technology. This technology reduces false positives and improves the overall reliability of results.
The Bio-Seeq PLUS assays also utilise Smiths LATE-PCR™ enhancement reagent known as PrimeSafe™ which virtually eliminates mispriming.
